Table Mountain is an iconic destination for South Africans and tourists alike. The national park that stretches beyond its slopes form the perfect playground for hikers, trail runners, and cyclists. In October 2017, though, the peaceful mountain park became a hunting ground and both predator and prey were human.
Blessing Bveni became known as the Table Mountain Killer. Bveni was sentenced to two life terms plus 33 years for his crimes in the Table Mountain National Park over the three-month period of attacks in 2018, which included robbery, assault, attempted murder and two murders.
