Bodies of Water Episode 128

Lakes and dams are intended to be places of recreation and enjoyment, but it is not uncommon for them to be used by murderers hoping to submerge their victims and crimes forever. In this episode I cover several different cases in which bodies of water were used in an attempt to cover up crimes and explain how forensic science helps investigators to solve these cases.

The so named Bruma Lake killers together received 13 life sentences and over 700 years in jail. Judge Joop Labuschagne sentenced Simon Majola, 34, to eight life terms and 422 years in jail, while Themba Nkosi, 23, was sentenced to five life terms and 375 years in jail. All sentences will run concurrently.
