When the body of Child Protection & Sexual Offences investigator Captain Anna-Marie Potgieter is discovered her colleagues arrest a man, believed to be her killer, within 48 hours.
Potgieter, a member of the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, had earned the respect of her colleagues by “giving her life to the police”, and cracking headline-grabbing cases like that of serial paedophile Peter Putter and rescuing a five-year-old boy who had been kept in a cage.
– Was the murder connected to an investigation Potgieter was conducting into child prostitution?
– Why was she killed so brutally? Why was she naked, and why was her body discovered only 24 hours after she was killed?
– Where is her service pistol (which was used to shoot her)?
– Have the police caught the right men and are there more accomplices on the run?
